Hello, my name is Jonathan and this is my first post.
I originally planned to have a nearly completed site–something a little rough, something I could improve upon–before my first post. It’s the idea I had nearly two years ago when I registered this domain, and the same idea I had a year ago when I finally decided to host the site somewhere. My point is, I could have waited another two years before I found the time for this project. As motivational-speaker-trying-to-pedal-his-overpriced-self-help-tapes sounding as I may seem: I realized that if you want to do something–MAKE the time to do it.
I want to take a moment to write about my hopes for this blog. I hope that this will be something I continue long after this post. I hope that by writing down my thoughts and experiences, it will help me to clarify, understand, and hopefully broaden my view on life. I mostly hope that my future posts won’t be written in a voice that seems too distant and detached.
