United Flight 935

Friday, December 12th, 2008

I’m writing this from seat 36H on United flight 935 from LAX to HNL. This will be our fourth attempt at taking off.

My flight was supposed to leave about 16 hours ago. A windshield wiper problem forced us to change planes, and a generator problem forced us to abandon any hopes of getting to Hawaii on Thursday night.

We are currently waiting for one more flight attendant to get here. Just delays after delays.

More to come if I ever get to Honolulu.

The Muffin Buffalo returns!

Bryan Fuller’s shows are simply amazing.  Wonderfalls, Dead Like Me, and Pushing Daisies are among my favorite TV shows.  Sadly they were / are going to be canceled before their time.

I am a big fan of Wonderfalls and was very disappointed when FOX cancelled the show after only four episodes.  (To this day, I still hate the Swan for taking over it’s time slot.)  Recently I found out that ABC decided not to pick up Pushing Daisies for another season.  However they did decide to run the rest of the episodes!

To my delight, as I was watching this week’s episode of Pushing Daisies, I saw the return of Beth Grant reprising her role as Marianne Marie Beetle, the creator of Muffin Buffalo in Wonderfalls.

I have to say this is going to be a bittersweet countdown to the final episodes of Pushing Daisies for me.

Back to the show.
